It was one of those days when Lexus just had that inspiration hit her in the face, well literally actually. She was pulling books down from the shelf when a certain one landed on her. Of course, she started reading and music came to her head. It was weird, how some things could inspire you. So off she went as she got ready for the record studio. She had dressed herself in this red dress that stopped right above her knees. It was a dress that Lex was a fan of and wore almost all the time next to her hat and honestly, you could never catch Lex without a hat. She walked into the bathroom and ran a hand through her blond hair. It was thin and as her mother told her, like spun sugar. She smirked as she placed a hat on her head. She quickly put on a small bit of eyeliner and eyeshadow. She swirled a blush brush in her blush and quickly dusted her face after she was done she walked out and found her boots by the door, pulling them on as she rather stumbled around. Sighing to herself she picked up her ipod touch and turned it on, plugging her earbuds in and pressing play on the screen. She grabbed her belt from her bed and cinched it around her small waist. She moved through the house and grabbed her guitar and sunglasses.
Honestly, she kinda hated the sun sometimes. It burned her pale skin and she hated sunburns. She took her guitar and placed it into her case with a handful of guitar picks because she was famous for losing them like always. She sighed and left the band house, not really caring about telling anyone where she was going or anything of the sort. They all had their own lives and Lexus didn't want to bother any of them as she got into her mini cooper. Yes, she had a blue mini cooper. She loved the tiny care. It was her favorite thing in the world. She took the earbuds out of her ears and plugged it into the car, blasting A Skylit Drive as she started the car and started driving towards Dropkick Nation's recording studio. Honestly, if you asked Lexus how she thought about this, she would tell you it was like a dream. That they got signed to Travis Barker's record label and they were recording their second album. She switched to the song 'The Day That Saved Us' by Automatic Loveletter. Her playlist was rather mixed. She listened to everything from Death Cab For Cutie to Bring Me the Horizon. It just depended on her mood though. If she was hyper and ready to have fun something like Jeffree Star or Hyper Crush would be on or more poppy. If she was in a quiet mood it would be Automatic Loveletter or Death Cab. Honestly, it depended on her. She hummed along to the song as she drove, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel at the stop lights and everything.
Soon, she pulled up into the parking lot, getting a space near the door. She took off her sunglasses and stuffed them into the sunglasses case by her mirror and took off her seatbelt, letting it snap back into position as she took the keys out of the ignition and grabbed her guitar case. She slammed the door closed and locked it with one press of a button and started to make her way into the cool air conditioned studio. She signed in and found the studio that was the last one in the hall, settling herself in there and started to set everything up. She sat done on the chair and unzipped the case, taking out the red guitar and a pick. She settled it in her lap and started strumming the guitar. She hummed the tune in her head as she played it. She knew she would probably lay down a few guitar tracks as a surprise for her band. She loved writing music. It let her let go and think for some time. Even though, she was having some trouble gathering her thoughts lately. She stopped playing for a moment to grab a notebook out of the bag and scribbled down some notes, tossing the pen and book onto the ground and started playing again, getting lost in her own world.
